Joe, I found your blog while doing a search pc to mac transition on google. Like the way you write, very easy to follow and to the point.

As you can guess from my search, I am also a pc person w/a desktop and 2 laptops at home. My desktop is about 7 yrs old and hds have crashed 2 times–no backup the first time and limited back up the 2nd time! ;-( Yes, I read your piece on back up just now as well. I am thinking of getting an iMac for my 40th bday and have been researching NAS and ability to share my music between pc and mac through the network. I’m trying to figure out the best router for this and also which NAS will work the best. I just read that Seagate just released a hd that both PC and Mac can use.

Love to read more on your transition to a Mac and what pieces that you are using for wireless router and NAS storage now that you’ll have both Mac and PC. I’m headed to an Apple class on Sunday to learn more about pc to mac transition as well.

I am going to subscribe to your blog. My first blog subscription!! Keep up the good work.

Thanks.
